George Harvey Strait is a legendary country singer and songwriter from the United States. He was born on May 18, 1952, in Poteet, Texas. In the youth, he played in a rock and roll garage band. Later the boy began to be interested in “The Beatles”. He was also fond of Frank Sinatra, George Jones, Hank Thompson and Bob Wills.
George is often called “King of Country” and is known to be one of the most popular artists of all times. The singer debuted with the song “Unwound” in 1981.
