If you did not see 'Camp Rock' maybe you are familiar at least with 'Barney'. If the answer is yes, you may be familiar with the spectacular presence of Demi Lovato, who started her long career as a six year old that was showing her gums on the purple dino's costume. She had a big break as a star of Disney's 2008 rock-camp-themed movie-musical. Originally from Dallas, Tex., she was distributed in the Disney Channel series 'Sonny with a Chance'. She went in the media for her long term friendship with her fellow Disney starlet Selena Gomez. The Jonas Brothers, other stars from 'Camp Rock' were friends and collaborators with Lovato, and their longtime singer-songwriters. They helped her to produce her debut album in 2008. For her next album produced the next year, 'Here I Go Again', she mentioned John Mayer as both a source of inspiration and first hand. After that musical success Lovato went through difficult times and spent some time in the hospital for eating disorders and cutting. But that experience did not sink her, and she worked hard to recover and openly spoke out about the pressures on young girls in the show biz. She channeled her struggles into a new album ‘Unbroken’, produced in 2011.
