Where Will The Top 10 DJs Be Mixing In New Year's Eve

Where Will The Top 10 DJs Be Mixing In New Year's Eve
27.12.13

While most of us have holiday and are away from high school, college or workplace, artists and DJs holidays, are in a thankless mission to make us feel good. Let's see where the best DJs in the world plays!

We've consulted the complicated agendas of top 10 DJs in the world, according to DJ Mag Top 100 ranking in 2013, made on the basis of millions of votes coming from the ranks of electronic music fans all over the world. Only one of the concerned names stay home on the evening of New Year. Most are hardworking and even have two events on December 31!

Interestingly, almost all will perform in the United States and Mexico, meaning that clubs and promoters in these areas pay better.

Before we review the places where we can find the most appreciated DJs of the moment, let's listen to Ferry Corsten remix of U2's "New Year's Day", one of the most requested songs at New Year.

Dash Berlin

After making sensation this year with "Jar of Hearts" (feat Christina Novelli) will mix on December 31 in Anaheim, California, in the White Wonderland, with Cosmic Gate, Steve Angello and Laidback Luke, in an Insomniac mark an event.

Afrojack

Even if he released "As Your Friend", the long-awaited collaboration with Chris Brown, Afrojack can say that 2013 was the best year of his career. At the turn of the year he will not feel cold, because it has a gig scheduled for Fountainebleau in Miami with Pharell.

Steve Aoki

I haven’t given him a lot of attention this year, but here Steve Aoki draw the line and has only pluses in 2013: a lot of collaborations, interesting climb in the Top 100 and dozens, maybe hundreds of amazing concerts... It will terrorize with the hard sound all those who spend New Year's Eve in the City - Mandala Beach Club in Cancun, Mexico. Sexy, right?

Nicky Romero

We liked "Still The Same Man", we also liked "Sounds of the Underground". In conclusion, we are pleased that Nicky Romero alternated in 2013 the Dutch house sound (which gets boring) to a calmer house, more settled and more groovy if you want. He ends his whole year in Mexico, specifically in the capital, Mexico City, where is the headliner of the event "Lights All Night".

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike

The best year of the only duo from this top 10, which meant a lot of hits like "Mammoth" and "Wakanda" will be ending for the two Russians in Brazil, where on the New Year's Eve they must come and play music in two places: Recife and Indaiatuba.

David Guetta

Situated in the top three most highly paid DJs in 2013, David Guetta has been successful this year with "Work Hard", collaboration with Akon and Ne-Yo. Guetta will step in 2014 on the Caribbean island of Saint Berthelemy, which will mix at the Nikki Beach.

Tiesto

2014 will be a crucial year for Tiesto, which is supposed to release a new studio album. New Year's party that he chose to participate to is organized by the famous club LIV from Miami, Fountainebleau. Will also meet Afrojack there.

Avicii

"True", his debut album landed in 2013. "Wake Me Up" is heard everywhere! I do not know if you expect it, but he chose to stay home for New Year and rest until the end of January, when he goes on tour in Australia and Europe.

Armin van Buuren

The trance king had a very productive year: new album, two compilations, two announced tournaments (Armin Only - Intense and ASOT 650), more videos, etc. He expects a very busy 2014, which it will begin at Mamitras Lounge in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Hardwell

He took over the business from Armin van Buuren and is the new number 1 in electronic music and live his dream. Hardwell works in the New Year and is planning two events in Canada: one in BMO Centre Calgary, and the second at Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver.

If I were offered the chance to go to one of the above events, I will definitely go to Miami, at Tiesto, and leave aside the trance for spring when ASOT 650 starts.

New Year 2014 is near. Are you ready?
