Despite the Grammys being in February, some are already celebrating. Chance the Rapper is among the enthusiastic people and he will be nominated for seven- yes, seven awards that include Best New Artist and Best Rap Song for “No Problem”.
That’s not half bad for someone who released his mix tape free of charge. A change in the rules gave him this chance, as of Last June, the Academy permitted streamed music eligible for the prize.
He took being nominated for the prize as a win, and isn’t planning to wait until February to meet his faith. He decided that being surrounded by his best friends and family when he was nominated was the winning night. He even gave us a preview of his acceptance speech , saying that if he does win a Grammy, it would be in the name of the Lord.
