Drake is the world’s most popular rapper right now and his songs prove exactly just that. In fact, Drake’s so good that he makes sad songs reach bill boards. The rapper teamed up with Rihana and recorded “Too Good”. The whole music community loves this song and danced to it, but now that The XX covered it the band’s cover made it clear that “Too Good” isn’t what they thought it is.
The XX attended BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and covered the highly popular song and their soft vocals revealed that Drake’s song is actually filled with sentimental lyrics. Oliver Sim and Romy Madly Croft’s gentle vocals accompanied by the tune’s uplifting beat are something truly outstanding. This is not the first time The XX has covered one of Drake’s and Rihana’s songs. The first song of theirs that has been covered by the XX was the 2012 worldwide hit “Take Care”. Nonetheless, music fans can be happy that The XX is putting out so many tracks.
