The Weeknd used to be with Selena Gomez, but they broke up. Well, it looks like this song is dedicated to Selena Gomez. The lyrics which are controversial are: “I almost cut a piece of myself for your life / Guess I was just another pit stop”. People seem to believe that The Weeknd is talking about donating his kidney to Selena Gomez who really needed a transplant. Neither The Weeknd nor Selena Gomez have to say something about this controversy, but we should expect a statement from Selena Gomez to come out.
