Sisters Catherine and Allison Pierce form the duo band known as The Pierces, announced yesterday that they will take a break to concentrate on their solo careers.
The announcement was posted by one of social networks yesterday:
"20 years, 5 label deals, 5 albums, 2 top 10 albums in the UK, 1 theme song that won't die, countless highs and lows! Allie and I are now going to take a little break from The Pierces and make solo albums. We'd like to thank all our fans for the support throughout the years and we look forward to sharing new music with you!"
The pierces launched throughout their career 14 singles, three EPs and five studio album. The latest album of the group, "Creation", was released in 2014.
