Childish Gambino released his third album called Awaken, My Love! Shortly after the issuing of two singles “Me and your Mama” and “Redbone. The first one got some VR treatment that enables you to catch a firsthand glimpse from the front row of his Pharos Festival.
The video has a 360-degree view of the gig, letting you choose to see Gambino do his thing on stage or play around with the angles as you please to see the whole crowd. We opted for a mix of both. On his website there’s a link where you could purchase a virtual reality vinyl edition. Gambino tried to explain this concept of VR stating that you can play it via virtual reality.
That’s not completely helpful but he loves how his album plays with pictures and sounds that affect people in such ways they cannot comprehend it even after the fifth listen. Being explained as that we guess that the new album is worth giving it a go.
