British pop band Take That, currently consists of three members after the departure of singers Robbie Williams and Jason Orange, will hold a tournament next year in the UK and Ireland. For the first time in the history of the band Take That in formula trio, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will support this event which will include 24 concerts on eight stadiums in the UK and Ireland.
The first show will take place in Glasgow on April 28, and will be followed by shows in Belfast, Dublin, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and Sheffield. The last concert of the tour will take place in London on 9 June. "They're four years since our last tour and I look forward to go back on stage to sing the greatest hits of our past 20 years, and new songs," Take That band members said in a statement. Take That band was created in 1990 in Manchester and released a number of successful songs like "Back For Good", "Pray" and "Relight My Fire".
The departure of Robbie Williams, who chose a solo career in 1995, did not prevent the band to achieve success. Members of Take That reunited in 2006 without Robbie Williams, almost 11 years since the fall of the band. Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald had a huge success by reuniting the band, and the album that came back on stage, "Beautiful World", has sold for over three million copies.
After he reconciled with Barlow, songwriter and main singer of the group Take That, Robbie Williams returned in 2010 with his former band mates, with whom he released a studio album - "Progress" - and claimed a tournament which included 29 concerts in stadiums across the UK and Ireland. The seventh studio album of the band Take That, "III", will be released on December 1st. Jason Orange, who announced his departure from the band in September, did not attend to the recording of this disc.
