Great news for music fans everywhere, My Chemical Romance’s front man Gerard Way teamed up with Steve Aoki to remix the 2006 “Welcome to the Black Parade” super hit. The song has an EDM vibe now and it can be found on iTunes and other streaming devices, and also on Steve Aoki’s forthcoming album “Neon Future III”.
The remix still keeps the song’s original piano intro and Gerard Way’s monologue but its rock vibe changes to a more techno/rave one, encouraging listeners to dance their problems away instead of screaming. My Chemical Romance has split up for a while now and fans of the band hoped that the remix of this song means the band will come together once again especially since they will be celebrating 10 years. Sadly, Gerard Way confirmed that the band is not planning to reunite and go touring any time soon. “I think everybody misses each other, and we definitely miss playing with each other – but at the same time, everybody is really happy with their lives” said Gerard.
