The online streaming platform, Spotify, plans to launch 12 series of shooting with famous bands and artists.
Among the names announced so far we can find Metallica, The Beach Boys and actor Tim Robbins. Filming will not exceed 15 minutes each and will be available both in free form for the visitors and paid form for those who want to pay for this service. The first two episodes have already been produced and two of the most popular bands of all time shed light on the history of music: Metallica and The Beach Boys.
"Music will always be most important, but our audience likes us and wants more from us. We have to figure out a second act, and I think it will come out of video. The idea is to make sure users know they can come here for something other than playlists.”, a declarat Tom Calderone de la Spotify.
