Sia refused offers of millions of dollars for new song
26.09.15

Sia said she had received offers of millions of dollars from Adele and Rihanna's new single "Alive". The new single is first extracted from the album "This is Acting" released yesterday. The artist spoke at Beats 1 about the story behind the song and the fact that she composed this track with Adele in mind. "What's funny is that I wrote this one song and gave it to Rihanna and I had seller's remorse because I was attached to it, i regretted it," she said of 'Alive'.

Then she gave it back to me and I was relieved." The next artist which will work with Sia is FKA Twigs. "I'm going to write with (FKA) Twigs. Normally I don't write with artists, it just makes it harder and takes longer for me.

It's easier for me to write the songs and just pitch them", said the artist. "Alive" is composed by Sia, Adele and Tobias Jesso, Jr. and was produced by Jesse Shatkin, the one that Sia worked at the hit "Chandelier", single nominated four times at the Grammys.
