Paul McCartney has released the video for "Early Days", a ballad inspired by the artist's experiences at the beginning of his musical career.
Paul McCartney filmed the music video "Early Days", a nostalgic piece that tells the story of the beginning of the career of British singer and experiences with John Lennon. Actor Johnny Depp shows up in the black and white video, "Early Days" is the third video in which he is present. In the past, Depp attended the filming for "My Valentine" and "Queenie Eye".
Although is a great video, Paul McCartney admits that initially he didn't wanted to shoot a video for the song "Early Days".
Later, the artist was persuaded by the director Vincent Haycock when he sent some suggestions for a possible video. "It is a melancholy song about me and John in the early days and thought I did want the video. Nevertheless, Vincent came up with a great idea: instead of having young impersonators interpret my role and of John (...), why souldn't we represent the story of two musicians at the beginning of their carrers?" said Paul McCartney for Rolling Stones magazine.
