One of the best parts about this year’s Grammys Awards was the In Memoriam segment. That’s were all the major artists that died in 2016 were immortalized. Sadly, many classic artists passed during 2016 and that’s why the In Memoriam segment included names like Prince, George Michael and Leonard Cohen. Even though the segment was filled with many tributes, one name was missing though.
The whole world was disappointed to see that Christina Grimmie wasn’t included in that segment as well. As everyone surely remembers, Grimmie was shot during a concert in Orlando last year. She was a Voice contestant and she had huge potential. The singer was known for always doing her best to upload different covers of famous songs on her YouTube channel. Even though her fans are disappointed, we have some good news though. The huge music label knows as Universal Music Group announced that it will officially start releasing her songs under their brand.
