One Direction were back with their first single since splitting from Zayn Malik and have activated the first live appearance with Drag Me Down.
Although just been released, the song was hummed by all fans attending the show Good Morning America. Moreover, the track came in first place in several countries in iTunes just hours after its launch, and the boys have shown that they have the same chemistry on stage and four formula also, One Direction energy has not suffered since Zayn departed.
About Drag Me Down was initially speculated it would be a song dedicated to and inspired by the one who left, but the boys wanted to clarify that is not the case.
The guys are preparing a new album and it seems that they have found inspiration for many artists. Obviously it's different … but it's still going great, and that's what this album is about. "I suppose it's quite eclectic, really "We took a lot of older inspirations from older artists."
