Just a week after the band Earth, Wind & Fire has been celebrated with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, Maurice White, passed away yesterday morning at the age of 74 years.
In 1992 he was diagnosed with Parkinson and quit the tournaments two years later. Maurice founded the band with his brother in 1969 and has enjoyed great success brought the hits "September", "After The Love Has Gone" and "tournaments".
In 2000 Earth, Wind & Fire was introduced to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is also member of the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
