The day she turned 18, Lorde released the video for "Yellow Flicker Beat" musical composition present on the soundtrack of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1".

Directed by Emily Kai Bock, the video for "Yellow Flicker Beat" presents the Lorde in a dark setting, on a bed in a motel. Then the action moves on the street, in a hangar and then to a party where she proves her artistic qualities, staging a series of dance moves. "I'm proud of this video. The song is about Katniss (the main character of production <>) who realizes that things have gone bad, the situation is pushed to the limits and even over them" said the singer.

"My character is a chameleon, of an intense and impulsive nature. Even if it is in a small space or nature is fiery", concluded the artist. Lorde worked on this single with Paul Epworth and Matt Wiggins, and the result is truly impressive. Although a good singer spent time away from the spotlight, her musical projects seems to be of some success with much potential.

Lorde's collaboration with Paul Epworth to achieve production of soundtrack "The Hunger Games" will surely bring a new wave of popularity, considering that producer is famous for many that received his creations, which include 4 Grammy prizes (for album "21" Adele's artist) and an Oscar (for the song "Skyfall").
