It’s been six years since Lil Wayne released a full album and we think it’s safe to say that the entire world is waiting for “The Carter: V” to finally arrive. Well, it looks like Lil Wayne might actually be working on the highly anticipated album right now. To make things even better, Lil Wayne’s lawyer recently said that the rapper has settled two ongoing lawsuits against Universal Music (music production company).
The fact that Lil Wayne is no longer constrained by any lawsuits leads us to believe that the rapper is free to launch as many albums as he wishes. Another reason why we think Lil Wayne is getting ready to drop a new album is because he said he plans to retire from the music industry and the rapper said back in 2012 that “The Carter: V” will be his final album. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Lil Wayne decides to do next.
