The new about Leonard Cohen’s death has shocked everyone. The Canadian singer and songwriter passed at the age of 82, not before releasing his last album “YOU WANT IT DARKER”. The news about his death has been confirmed in a Facebook post in which they said “We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries”. The post also included details about his memorial that is going to take place in Los Angeles, and that his family requested the fans to allow them privacy.
Leonard Cohen was 33 when he released his first album entitled “Songs of Leonard Cohen”. The album included top hits such as “Suzanne” and “So Long, Marianne”. He was regarded as one of the most influential Canadian artists to ever exist. Leonard Cohen has influenced many music artists during his life time, Kurt Cobain and R.E.M included.
