Lady Gaga’s recent Thailand Tweet goes viral and infuriates the Thailand locals as she states to be going shopping in the country to buy a fake Rolex.

Gaga, having more than 24 million followers on the social network sparked a backfire and left millions of fans highly disappointed where they stated that her comments were insulting and offensive for Thailand’s image.

This has marked itself as the latest development in the “Born This Way Ball” as it marks its way through the Asian countries.

Gaga’s already controversial outfits and lyrics have caused much outrage from some of the Christians in Philippines and South Korea as well as some Islamic nations such as Indonesia who ended up banning the show altogether.

She has now sparked flames in Thailand as well by shedding light upon the underworld and black markets which the residents are not too proud to display to the foreigners.

Thai DJ, Surahit Siamwalla has stated that he is planning to boycott Gaga’s show which is to be held in Bangkok and sent out a tweet saying, “we are more civilized than you think.”

Another Thai member of the web board said, "she came to our home, but instead of admiring us she insulted us."

Lady Gaga posted timely updates on her Twitter page as soon as she landed in Thailand on Wednesday, “I just landed in Bangkok baby! Ready for 50,000 screaming Thai monsters. I wanna get lost in a lady market and buy fake Rolex."

Although her statement was pretty vague, some locals guessed that what Gaga indicated by “lady market” was the high outdoor prostitution culture in the country.

Despite such tweets, not all Thai fans have given up on her and there were still excited fans dying to get her autograph after the 5-star hotel she was residing in.

The locals also suggested that if Gaga does actually go out for shopping in the country, she will be marveled to find out how much the country has to offer and that not everything in the country turns out to be pirated.
