To no one surprise, Kendrick Lamar’s latest release entitled “DAMN” is becoming the best selling album of this year. The reason we are saying that everyone expected Kendrick Lamar’s album to sell so well is because he is considered as being the G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time). In addition, Kendrick teased this album by releasing “Humble” and the entire music industry has been going crazy about how good it is.
Billboard recently announced that “DAMN” has already managed to sell over 600,000 copies and that the number is still growing. We should mention that Billboard initially expected “DAMN” to sell around 400,000-500,000 units but Kendrick Lamar’s rhymes and beats have taken that number overboard. Let’s just hope that other rappers will come out with similar impressive albums now that Kendrick has raised the bar.
