Just after leaving setting the VMA stage on fire and leaving the crowd in awe, Kendrick Lamar decided to team up with Mac Miller on DJ Kay Slay’s “Cold Summer” and spit some more fire rhymes. Worth mentioning is that “Cold Summer” managed to reunite Kendrick Lamar and Mac Miller once again. In addition, Kevin Kates and Rell are also featured on the track.
What’s really cool about this track is that Mac Miller hypes his partnership with Kendrick Lamar by stating the following warning “Me and Kendrick on a track, man, that’s bad news”. Nonetheless, “Cold Summer” is a great track and it’s DJ Kay Slay’s first single from his upcoming “Big Brother” album.
