The winning artist was Justin Bieber who took home five awards for R Best Male, Best Fans, Best Look, Worldwide Act: North America and Best Collaboration for the song "Where Are You Now" made with Diplo and Skrillex.
Among the winners last night is Ed Sheeran (Best Live Act), "Coldplay (Best Rock), Rihanna (Best Woman), Taylor Swift (Best Song), One Direction (Best Pop) and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (Best Video). In the MTV Europe Music Awards this year, the group Duran Duran won the MTV Visionary Award.
