A few hours after the death of Prince, Justin Bieber posted on a social networking site a phrase that has been interpreted as insulting to Prince.
Andrew Wyatt had stated on Instagram that Prince was "last of the greatest living performers" and Bieber replied "Well not the last greatest living performer."
The post was subsequently deleted and PR artist said the posting was written by a fake account. Prince's fans have reacted quite negatively seeing this comment: "That's completely bad! It is not even one of the best contemporary artists, let alone reaching the legend status. I doubt that will ever reach such a status." "I don't care if Justin was referring to him when he made that comment, the idea is that it was so disrespectful! All you had to say was RIP Prince".
