As many of you might already know, Jay-Z recently released his highly acclaimed “4:44” album. Even though Jay-Z didn’t do too many interviews in order to promote the album, he did decide to go over at BBC Radio 1. During the time that Jay-Z was at BBC Radio 1’s headquarters, he did a short interview and performed a couple of live tracks.
Jay-Z showed how much he respected the late Chester Bennington once again by performing “Numb/Encore” during the live session. In fact, Jay-Z started his performance with the following line: “I dedicate this song to Chester”. Nonetheless, “Numb/Encore” first came out in 2004 and it was featured on Jay-Z and Linkin Park’s collaborative album. Sadly, Chester is not coming back but at least we can admire how much other artists cared for him.
