Iggy Pop released the first track extracted from the album "Post Pop Depression".
The material was made in collaboration with Josh Homme and Matt Helders from Arctic Monkeys at drums. "Post Pop Depression" contains nine songs and will be released on March 18 via Caroline International.
The album was recorded in secret in the two studios of Josh Homme: two weeks in Joshua Tree, and the next seven days in Pink Duck in Los Angeles. “In American life, because it’s so hypercompetitive, what happens when you’re finally useless to everyone except hopefully not yourself? What happens then? And can you continue to be of use to yourself? I had a kind of character in mind. It was sort of a cross between myself and a military veteran.”, Said Iggy Pop on the album's topic for the New York Times.
