Music fans worldwide are highly anticipating their favorite artists to launch new tracks and music albums now that 2017 is here and Ed Sheeran is the first one to announce a new album. As soon as we entered 2017 the artist posted a short video on Twitter where he held a piece of paper with the text “New Music Coming Friday!!”. This came quite as a surprise since Ed Sheeran quit social media back in 2015.
This new album is the follow up to Sheeran’s critically acclaimed “X” album which was launched two years ago. Everybody knows by now that the artist has focused his attention towards the production side of music and helped other artists such as Taylor Swift create great hits, but now it’s clear that he was working on a new album at the same time.
