Ed Sheeran wants to become more famous than his compatriot Robbie Williams. He has every right to want this, his latest album reaching the first place in both the UK charts, and in the United States.
While for some artists this would be enough, Sheeran aims higher. Ed wants to perform at the legendary Knebworth location in Herts, where Robbie Williams has sold 400,000 tickets for three shows in 2003. "Knebworth has 125,000 people, and Robbie holds the record for three shows.
So this is the next step." He said. It doesn't seem something hard to get considering that Ed had three sold out concerts at Wembley Stadium last month, which gathered 240,000 fans in total.
