One of the most successful bands in history, Duran Duran announced that it will release the new album named "Paper Gods" on September 11th, and not 18th as was originally scheduled, due to numerous requests from fans.
Lead singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor recorded "Paper Gods" in London with producers Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, Mr. Hudson and Josh Blair. Tracks on the 14th album of his career have been rated as the best of since the release of "Rio", including the true essence of Duran Duran - duality and conflict states which have always been based messages sent by the band. Daring, the contemporary pop album combines with experimental elements, resulting in an epic material throughout the whole.
A deluxe version of "Paper Gods" is available for pre-order, and the single "Pressure Off" can be purchased in digital stores. Duran Duran have also announced that they will perform in a series of summer festivals, but will support separate shows in the US in September and October, followed by a UK tour in a big concert on Arena O2 in London. Now they have released a new song, "Last Night in the City" in collaboration with pop artist Kiesza.
