We think it’s safe to say that everyone has heard Despacito at least once during this summer. The reason we can be so sure of this is because Despacito is the most streamed song on Spotify. In fact, Despacito set a new record by reaching 3.5 billion views on YouTube. Therefore, no one should be surprised by the fact that Despacito is the most played of the summer. However, it’s great seeing every major billboard announce this officially.
Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s immensely popular song even managed to grab the attention of Justin Bieber who recently performed a remix of it which reached the 16th place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. What makes Despacito the undisputed “Most played track of the summer” is the fact that it was played over and over not only in America, but in Europe as well.
