The rap industry is filled with many unique characters but Chance the Rapper is truly something special. The artist managed to achieve something exceptional this year. Chance is the first artist in the world to win a Grammy award and not launch a physical album. Chance’s album wasn’t launched the traditional way. The rapper decided to make his album streamable so that his fans weren’t required to go and purchase a physical copy of it.
The reason we are talking about Chance today is because he amazed the whole world with his Grammys acceptance performance. The prolific artist performed “Blessings”, “How Great” and “Blessings”. What made his performance so special is that he decided to use an orchestra and church gospel choir. Tamela Mann and Kirk Franklin were in that choir and their powerful voices made Chance’s songs sound even better than they already do. Even better, we were able to see a more emotional Chance during that performance and that’s something different than what we are used to see.
