American pop diva, Britney Spears, has announced her immense sadness over the accidental demise of a concertgoer at one of her Dublin shows. Reportedly, 31-year old Britney fan fell to his death, following an unfortunate fall from a ride at a carnival, located right outside the singers Femme Fatale concert home – the Dublin O2 arena.
The mega-star offered her condolences via a posting on social networking website Twitter. She said, "I was saddened to hear of the tragic accident in Dublin. My heart goes out to the family," in a tweetsent out following the accident on October 25.
A leading newspaper of UK, the Daily Mail, says that the deceased met her untimely death on a fairground ride staged in front of the O2. The paper was unsure as to whether the rides were a part of the singers show, or in any way related to the concert.
The incident happened late night, following the shows conclusion, at somewhere around 11:20p.m. The young women was pronounced dead immediately after the fall. The concerned authorities removed her body, and sealed off the area for further investigations. The mishap is being ascribed to adverse weather conditions, presently ailing East Ireland.
The accident is in a series of incidents to have plagued concert tours this year. Recently, a stage came down at a Sugarland concert, resulting in fatal injuries to many.
