Adele was named Artist of the Year at the BBC Awards

Last night the winners were revealed in a BBC Music Awards show held at Genting Arena in Birmingham.

Important names of the international music industry were on the stage and offered the audience truly exceptional moments. Adele was crowned Artist of the Year and the award was handed over by Rod Stewart.

But this was just the beginning for Adele. She received the award for BBC Live Performance of the Year, and the one who handed the trophy was Brian May, Queen's guitarist.
