Adele is known for always winning a lot of Grammys. In fact, there’s a famous picture from 2012 of her holding five Grammy awards in her hands. Well, now it looks like Adele did it once again. During the last Grammys event, Adele managed to beat Beyonce in the Record of the Year race. Additionally, the prolific singer also won the Song of the Year award.
The British singer didn’t just overshadow Beyonce, Drake and Justin Bieber lost to her as well. We think it’s safe to say that it was a close race. The reason we are saying this is because both Drake and Justin launched great albums throughout 2016, but nothing even comes close to Adele’s “25”. During Adele’s acceptance speech, she reminisced to back in 2012 when she won five Grammys in a night. The singer said that she has changed a lot since then because she became a mother. Nonetheless, we can only hope that Adele will come out with an even better album in 2017.
