Virgin Mobile is a brand, used by various licensees all around the world. Each local firm operated completely independent, thus hardware, prices, plans and other related stuff vary greatly. Most often these firm operate using someone else’s networks. For example, Polish branch uses T-Mobile’s and Play’s networks. Its American counterpart is just a subsidiary of Sprint, making it little more than branded side project of that corporation. Still, it is attractive enough to have more than six million clients in this country. Some branches succeed, others do not. This way we recently witnessed appearance of Virgin Mobile Peru and Brazil, while ventures in such developed countries as France, Qatar and Singapore were short lived. As of 2017, the most successful branch is probably in Chile. It regularly receives customer awards from local regulating agencies, its customer base is constantly growing and payment options are well suited to specifics of this market.
