In 2011 Foster the People debuted with the album “Torches”. The single “Pumped Up Kicks” became their first commercial hit, which peaked at No.3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also included such popular singles as “Don’t Stop” and “Helena Beat”. “Torches” was nominated for Grammy Awards. During 2 further years, the group toured to support the album.
In 2014 the band released their sophomore album “Supermodel”. Soon they released a video, featuring a huge mural of their album’s cover in LA downtown. Young and Sick created the mural, which took them up to 10 days. Due to legal controversy, the mural was painted over very soon.
