Chris Stapleton is a popular country singer from the United States. He was born on April 15, 1978, in Kentucky to the family of coal miners. In 2001 he moved to Nashville to build a career of a musician. Soon after that, he signed a deal with Sea Gayle Music.
Stapleton played in the band The Steeldrivers and The Jompson Brothers. Once he was signed to Mercury Nashville, Chris began his solo career. In 2013 the singer debuted with the first single “What Are You Listening to”. Unfortunately, it wasn’t successful.
2 years later, the world saw his debut album “Traveller”, which made Chris famous across the country. The work got a lot of positive reviews from the critics and it was well accepted by the audience. Later he received Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year Awards. In 2016, the album was a nominee for several Grammy Awards.
Chris is married to Morgane Hayes, a singer, who worked with Arista Nashville. She also co-wrote the hit of Carrie Underwood “Don’t Forget to Remember Me”. The couple has two beautiful children.
