The history of success of RED occurred fast but at the end of a hard work. The band was created in 2004 by Andrew Hendrix (drums) and Jasen Rauch (guitar, songwriter), in Nashville. They were immediately noticed by the famous recording companies Essential Records, part of Sony BMG focused on promoting Christian singers. The debut album 'End of Silence', produced with the help of Rob Graves, made the group famous beyond the narrow category of Christian metal, but as an appreciated band of modern rock music. The first single produced by the band ‘Breathe Into Me’ entered the Top 20 of the biggest American rock charts. The second one, 'Innocence & Instinct' had more heavy rock influences but was equally appreciated and promoted in the famous US ‘Billboard’ 200 chart at the 15th position. The band went through tragic moments following the serious accident that their van was the victim in November 2007, when they were on a tour. The drummer Hayden Lamb was seriously injured and he went out of the band for the rest of the tour, but the RED guys went further and were able to got the whole slice of success.
