Brantley Gilbert
Biography

Brantley Gilbert is one of the most popular country singers from the US. He was born on January 20, 1985, in Georgia. He later told that never dreamt of becoming a great singer and guitar player. Even though he listed to a lot of rock bands, he always liked country more. The original success came to Gilbert due to the songs he wrote for Jason Aldean and Colt Ford. He first signed a deal with Average Joes Entertainment and soon released “Modern Day Prodigal Son” and “Halfway to Heaven”. In 2001 he started cooperating with Valory Music Co., where he again released “Halfway to Heaven”, but with new bonus tracks. The singles “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” hit No.1 on Hot Country Songs charts. In 2013 he was awarded New Male Artist by Academy of Country Awards. In 2013, Gilbert released his second album “Just as I Am”. The single “Bottoms Up” hit No.1. The track “Stone Cold Sober” became his first Platinum Edition. In 2015 Brantley married Amber Cochran, a schoolteacher from Georgia. He told she was the inspiration for many hits, including “More Than Miles”.
