Beyonce Knowles wanted to be a star long before she turned into the main singer of Destiny’s Child. When she was 9, she started to sing and even was part of a group. The Destiny’s did not have a long life, and following the 2001 separation, she tried to find new ways to reinvent herself. For a while, she found out some opportunities in the world of movies, as she received a role in ‘Austin Powers: Goldmember’, and has an episodic appearance in the MTV show ‘Carmen: A Hip Hopera’. However, she always felt that her future is in the world of music and thus she prepared her solo debut in 2003, with ‘Dangerously in Love’. Together with Jay-Z she had her first single ‘Crazy in Love’ that entered the first places of the charts. With the 2006 ‘B’Day’ she entered the charts with another two successful hits ‘Ring the Alarm’ and ‘Deja Vu’. At the same time, she continued her experiences in the world of movies and starred in ‘Dreamgirls’ as Deena Jones, a musical that won the Oscar. She wanted to put on trial his musical qualities and also tried to play some Latin music. The result was the 2007 cooperation with Shakira on ‘Beautiful Liar’. Moreover, the deluxe edition of ‘B’Day’ included ‘Amor Gitano’, featuring the famous Mexican hit by Alejandro Fernandez, but also a Spanish version of ‘Irreplaceable’. Her third studio album ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’, Beyonce tried a new experience, as trying to wear two musical hats: one representing herself and another one of the diva Sasha Fierce.
