She graduated from the school but didn’t go to the college at once. She was constantly busy with music, uploading her videos on YouTube. In 2015, when she was only 18, Alessia signed to Def Jam Recordings. This year she released her first debut single “Here”. It was a real success. A lot of magazines added the track to “must hear songs” lists. In 2015, Cara first appeared on television, performing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.
In 2016 she was noticed by Coldplay and offered to perform as their tour opener during Head Full of Dreams world tour. Next year her “Scars to Your Beautiful” hit top 10 of the Hot 100 U.S charts.
