A Great Big World is a popular American duo from New York City, consisting of Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino. They both studied music simultaneously dreaming of becoming a part of show business. Ian offered Chad to become his music partner. The guys describe their friendship as super special.
With time their popularity grew. In 2012 they rebranded themselves into A Great Big World. After the piano ballad “Say Something” they got a lot of opportunities. After singing it with Christina Aguilera, the track has become extremely popular all over the world. Moreover, it was a part of “So You Think You Can Dance” finale and got to the top 5 on Billboard Hot 100.
Victoria Secret Show invited the group to perform the song on the show. Together with Christina Aguilera, they sang it on “The Voice” and the American Music Awards 2013. In 2014 the duo released their debut album “Is There Anybody Out There?” Next year they started working on a second album.
