A$AP Rocky is a famous American rapper, actor, record producer and model from New York. He was only 12, when saw his father jailed. The next year, his older brother was murdered. Most of his childhood, he spent camping in various shelters with his single mother.
At the age of 8, he started to experiment with rhymes, but only in 17 started rapping seriously. He was encouraged by the Diplomats, Devin the Dude and UKG. The style of the rapper is quite breezy and smooth. You’ll often notice Houston in his songs.
In 2007 he was the part of A$AP mob. The acronym has a number of meanings: “Assassinating Snitches and Police”, “Acronym Symbolizing Any Purpose”, “Always Strive and Prosper”.In 2011 he released a hit “Peso”, which hit the Hot 97 New York radio station and R&B charts.
He first became famous due to the mixtape LiveLoveA$AP. His first studio album Long. Live. A$AP Rocky climbed to the number 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2013. Later BET Awards nominated him as the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist.
